THE BAND “POCKET CHANGE” Band Expose’

POCKET CHANGE a gifted set of musicians that groove to Motown, Funk, Soul and R&B. Eddie Carmichael, founded the Band in 1994, they have been playing-it-live as opening acts, Main Stage Performers, and as headline Entertainment at Music and Food Festivals throughout the State of Florida. I heard their performance at The Miami Taste of Brickell Food and Wine Festival on March 23, 2013. Their brand of Music and Entertainment is Outstanding!

While Pocket Change played, dancers filled the grassy area in front of the stage. The stage lights were casting a shadow over the MIAMI CIRCLE, it occurred to me that this very spot, in this very space a festival at the mouth of the Miami River might have looked very similar 2000 years ago when the Tequesta Indians inhabited this very space. By the time Pocket Change had finished their set, the grassy area was filled with men and women dancing! Kudos to the Entertainment delivered by  Eddie The Thrill  Carmichael, the band leader/founder of Pocket Change.

Jay Michaels (Radio & TV Personality) says

I have been a professional in this industry for more years than I care to mention. Having produced concerts and shows with major recording acts and touring artists and I am here to say. I have never seen a band on the "local" scene put as much "professionalism" and "showmanship" into a performance.

Whether they are doing a party for 50 people or appearing as an opening act for a concert they are...

consistantly in the pocket each and every time. If there are any aspiring bands out there or bands who feel they have not yet hit the mark take some lessons from Pocket Change, NO EGOS, NO KNOW IT ALLS, and the art of showmanship that comes from hours and hours of hard work, practice, rehearsal and the constant drive to be better. Take note Pocket Change is truly the best.

Summerjazz 2011

Naples Beach Hotel and Golf

Hey, Y'all! I saw you at the Naples Summer Fest. You are absolutely marvelous. I'm a 61 year old grandma, so your music is golden to me. Actually, I was the oldest broad down front when it was raining like h***. I told my husband that was the first time in my life I had danced in the rain. What a great time. You guys are wonderful. When I hit the lottery, I'm going to hire you to play for me and my family. BTW, have you ever heard of Ram Shackle Shack by the Tams? Just love Joe Pope and the Tams. Anyway, a great big thank you for a wonderful night of music and memories. God Bless You All!!!
